Parker My Guardian Angel

Written originally as a poem, the book Parker: My Guarding Angel was brought to life by Celeste Stanley during the year following the death of her friends’ infant son, Parker William Demaree. The book was presented to Parker’s parents on what would have been his first birthday.

Dealing with the death of a loved one is never easy, but it’s especially hard when the death is that of a child. There are no clear explanations as to why God chooses to call a child home so early when he has a lifetime ahead of him. It was during this time of praying and searching for answers, any answer, as to why a child is taken from his parents that this book was born. It is my hope that this book brings other parents, children, family and friends of those struggling with the death of a child comfort in knowing that God holds you, and the child, in the palm of His hands…and that He intends only good things for all His children.
